The BDZX series of integrated wedge-shaped and V-shaped flowmeters are a new type of throttling device that combines the advantages of the classic Venturi tube and the annular orifice plate. It measures flow by utilizing the throttling effect produced by the cone in the flow field. Unlike other throttling flowmeters, it changes the throttling layout, shifting from central hole throttling to annular throttling. Its theoretical principle is based on the Bernoulli equation and the continuity equation of fluid flow, which are derived from the law of conservation of energy in a closed pipeline. Under stable flow conditions, the flow velocity in the pipeline is proportional to the square root of the differential pressure. The V-shaped flowmeter has good stability, high accuracy, good repeatability, a wide range ratio, low requirements for installation piping, low pressure loss, and can measure fluids containing solid particles, high-pressure fluids, high-humidity gases, and various dirty fluids.
